The lack of movement and subsequent restrictions mean that these people are at an increased risk of developing pressure sores or other complaints associated with periods of immobility.

Moulded from visco elastic memory foam for increased postural control and optimum comfort, the pressure relieving visco elastic foam insert protects the ischial tuberosity – commonly referred to as the sitting bones – for complete pressure relief and long-term comfort.

This revolutionary range offers four distinct areas of protection and support:
• The lateral and posterior sides are slightly higher to stabilise the pelvis in position.
• Pommel is designed to improve patient positioning and increase comfort.
• Shaped thigh area allows air to circulate and reduces pressure
• The rear recess is designed to increase patient care options by use of the appropriate insert protecting the ischial tuberosity and promoting optimal weight distribution.
